The film, based on the novel “Shutter Island” by Dennis Lehane, is an atmospheric psychological thriller set in a 1950s asylum for the criminally insane. It’s 1954, and up-and-coming US marshal Teddy Daniels is assigned to investigate the disappearance of a patient from Shutter Island’s Ashecliffe Hospital. He’d been gunning for an assignment on the island for reasons of his own — but before long he wonders whether he hasn’t been brought there as part of a twisted plot by hospital doctors whose radical treatments range from unethical to illegal to downright sinister. Teddy’s code-breaking skills soon provide a promising lead, but the hospital refuses him access to records he suspects would break the case wide open. As a hurricane cuts off communication with the mainland, more dangerous criminals “escape” in the confusion, and the puzzling, improbable clues proliferate, Teddy begins to doubt everything — his memory, his partner, even his own sanity.

“Edge of Darkness” centers on a veteran cop (Gibson) whose only grown-up child (Novakovic) is murdered on the steps of his home. The cop unearths his daughter’s secret life and discovers a world of corporate cover-ups and government collusion. Huston takes on the role of a shady businessman while Roberts will play the role of the daughter’s distraught boy

Horror buffs brace yourselves, because the trailer you’ve all been waiting for has finally broken out, and come April 2010, we’ll all be going back to the eighties to catch another go-round of Nightmare On Elm Street. Featuring Jackie Earle Haley in the iconic role of Freddy Krueger, the people of Springwood find themselves tormented by a child murderer. An arrest is made and local Krueger is put on trial, but found not guilty by reason of a technical error in the proceedings. The parents of Springwood decide to get their own justice, and in the process, murder Krueger by setting him on fire.
